Man proposes: but god disposes. But at times, the things thought of come to realisation. On the other hand many do not get their demand on many occasions. At times some good things happen without one's knowledge or awareness. All the occurrences are taking place according to the will of Almighty! If so, the will of god is already predetermined in each and every case ! ‘Is it all true? Yes and no !! As per rule of Karma (கர்மா) or the law of cause and effect everything is predetermined. But the supreme god's will is to make the man to reach the goal of his own accord by gracious persistent endeavour. Until a man does not rush to this gracious attempt, the law of karma (கர்மா) will be pursuing him on and on. His progress is approaching towards grace will be rightly and timely awarded even against his ordained destiny. Therefore no one should keep quiet without progressive good endeavour. It is foolishness to think everything will come to pass according to the past karma (கர்மா) , and nothing could be avoided or changed by any amount of effort. Lazy people, in the name of destiny keep aloof of good attempt and thereby lose everything offered to them by the will of god.
Thiru Arutprakasa Vallalar was ever in perseverance to do good things. His thoughts were always in divine work. He was in Arutperunjothi and he had given up all his ego. So, he wills nothing. the will of god is the will of him Anything he desires to do, it is the will of god and so it will be done very successfully. After his experience he tells us, that the Arutperunjothi, is deigning as to his thoughts. Hence we must be in gracious attempt and working for the good of humanity; meanwhile god will be providing us with all our needs and demands. The divine will and that of our Ramalingar is one and the same as to make us Omnigracious: therefore it must be our real will and demand also, and it will be offered to us in the end.

This couplet is almost a repetition of the last one except a little difference. In the preceding couplet his thought or idea was the subject matter. It was said that his thought was fulfilled at his very demand. Here, his will is expressed that is, the wishes of the outer mind. While the thought and idea were the inner subject arising from the subconscious mind, the will and wishes are the external expressions of outer mind.
The mind of man may wish for all the possible or impossible things. Under this will or wish there may be some mental desire or hatred: because ordinary people are leading the sensuous life for sensual pleasure. In such a life, there will possibly be much desire and hatred. But our gracious god is ordering from within us the exact things of real demand, with which we can live a good happy life. If we do not know Him and His law of grace we may not wisely make use of the environment for good divine life. In this worldly life all the needful circumstances are brought up by His grace. If we know well and make use of these circumstances, we may easily attain the divine bliss.
The mind of our Swamigal is pure. This purity is especially coupled with Omnigrace. That is, the mental faculty is completely transformed into the divine grace itself. This gracious knowledge is ever in self experience at everywhere. There is no remembering and forgetting of worldly matters. These (the remembering and forgetting) are affecting only the impure mind of sensuous man. To get over the mental level, the control of senses is the first need. The concentrated mind, if completely buried in inconscient sleeping stage there will be no gain; the mind if transformed into the spirit of grace and spread out through the senses, to enlighten the surround souls, then, great profit of Blessed life could be obtained. Our Vallalar's mind is the divine grace in spirit, so it will not long for anything else here. He wishes all people to be divinised and therefore he is awarded the divine three dega siddhi (திரி தேக சித்தி) with which he is working from in and out of every person according to his or her developments. Though the Omnigrace empowered him to do all miracles, he never wants to get name and fame through such miracles and his wishes are pure gracious and so, he is doing the great work for the highest emancipation of mankind. Ignoring the Omigrace of god and the real gracious work to be done in this life, some people of parapsychic power are doing some wonders to the utter amazements of the public people. By such miraculous work both the doers and the public waste away their energy and life in vain. In doing wonders a man is showing only his ego self instead of realising the god and His Almighty power. The general public too, deluded by the mystic works of such so called great men, are praising them without knowing the one great being who alone is worthy of all reverence and praise. If we understand the One supreme god of infinite grace and take Him as our guiding light, He will deign all the goodness for our eternal blessed blissful life.

What is mind? Mind is the special thinking faculty of human being. In all the lower living beings there are different sensuous feelings along with a special power of instinct to each species. In humanity there are both the sensuous feelings and the special mind, viz. intuition or instinct as we may say. This mind's thinking faculty is used for reasoning purpose and also to transcend to the highest plane of soul-god. The power which has projected as mind in ordinary man, is instinct in lower living beings, and below that level, it is some natural energy, like gravity, cohesion, electricity, atomic power in man too differs in different degrees. In ordinary waking stage mind is said as the conscious mind; when a major portion of this mind is hidden, that is called sub conscious mind; in sleeping or swooning stage the mind is unconscious; and when it is transcended to the higher level; it is called super conscious or supra mental stage. Above all these stages, it is the divine knowledge of grace and this is called the divine soul stage.
Let us now look down from the topmost level of divine gracious plane. In this stage god alone is existing in the form of our individual soul atom. This soul is denoted here as our 'Ullam (உள்ளம்)'. Its natural attribute is the knowledge of grace which has descended to the level of mind in ordinary man. Until the man has not got up on the highest gracious stage, his mind is drifting here and there in all the unconscious, conscious, subconscious and super conscious levels. In all these lower stages there is no steady calmness and blessed peace of mind. "Since I have received Arutperunjothi in my experience it has made me steady at soul, and thus I have been prevented from becoming tired and weary", says our Vallalar in these lines. The soul experience is figuratively spoken as 'ullam kaikkani or angkakkani'.(உள்ளங்கைக் கனி அல்லது அங்கைக்கனி நெல்லிக்கனி நெல்லி)
There is a proverb in Tamil, "Ullam Kai nellikkani (உள்ளங்கைக் கனி)" meaning, nelli (நெல்லி) fruit in the palm of the hand; it is explained thus: The fruit of 'nelli' (நெல்லி) tree (Indian gooseberry or phyllanthus emblica) is an edible and of medicinal value. In Siddha system of Indian medicine, 'black nelli' (நெல்லி) is of the highest value; the fruit of which has the power of insight to finding out some hidden objects. This may or may not be fully true in the case of this fruit; but it is cent percent true with our soul and its experience. This truth of this fruit may also be studied through a sanskrit equivalent: It is said in that language, Karathala amalaham (கரதல ஆமலஹம்) meaning the same as in Tamil. The word (ஆமலஹம்) is rendered as Nelli (நெல்லி) . This Amalaham (ஆமலஹம்) is also meant as the pure soul devoid of impurities. Thus we must give much weight for the soul experience only and not for any other lower power thirst.
The word 'ullam' (உள்ளம்) is ul + am (உள்+அம்) and it may be expanded into ul+a:u-m. (உள்+அ,உ,ம்) The'Ul' (உள்) is inner and a.u.m. (அ,உ,ம்) (Om) (ஓம்) is outer, surrounding the inner. This is reverse of (கடவுள்) Kadaul, because 'kada' (கட) is outer form and 'ul' (உள்) is inner. The divine being has become our soul particle for our experience. Therefore Ullam (உள்ளம்) should be taken to represent the soul only but not mind or its lower stages. To represent this soul experience it is said, that a golden cup in the hand or golden kangkanam (கங்கணம்) at the hand denotes our divine life's experience only.

Man has got two sorts of life or double life we may say - a bodily life and a soul life. The outer bodily life is mainly sustained by air, water and food (other things can be added according to the circumstances). Then, the inner soul life flourishes by divine grace, soul knowledge and spiritual service. All people of the world are leading physical sensuous life from time immemorial. Through the history of mankind and tradition we know how the human life on the earth has developed. And we see and experience all the present life of humanity in the world.
There are millions and millions of people in the world all born innocent; during the life time, each one is going through many pleasant and painful experiences, only to pass away in the end. This kind of life to the humanity is continuously set in motion by the eternal Almighty power.
The humanity is endowed with a powerful mind of reasoning faculty. By this mental power the man is to rise up to the highest divine level. But without using that reasoning power for the higher purpose he is wasting his energy in the sensuous life. All the people of different walks of life are only out sided, they are not even aware of the other side of the life which is pure and permanent. Even some wise philosophical and religious minded persons do not understand the divine life awaiting them.
The world knows only the temporary life of man, the other which is eternal is not known to the public. The unknown but permanent life is kept concealed in the soul-atom. The Almighty power of divine grace is eternally existing in and working through the soul particle. By the Omnigrace of god, when man realises himself that he is naturally in oneness of Arutperunjothi, he follows the inner divine suggestion. This inner divinity is noted, Aruirkkullolir Arutperunjothi (ஆருயிர்க்குள் ஒளிர் அருட்பெருஞ் ஜோதி ) , 'uir' (உயிர்) is ordinary life while 'aruir' (ஆருயிர்) is the permanent soul. Inside this soul is permanently shining the divine Arutperunjothi. This Jothi is bidding him to revive the humanity. He is trying to make the people to understand firstly the soul life, and then adopt that new life for the good of all.
In the past, those who had got some idea of soul's permanent life, tried to attain it by relinquishing the physical bodily life. Without this body the soul life cannot be lived as an electric lamp cannot give light without bulb. The man, without losing this physical form, should make a gracious life from the soul plane. This gracious life itself transforms the physical into gracious form. Thus the inner permanent life is expanded to the outer life also. Thus man becomes immortalised to live in bliss for ever. This work has been entrusted to our Vallalar by the Lord Arutperunjothi.

The spirit form of subtle nature is developing between the soul and the physical form. At the beginning of creation, the divine spirit is pressed out of the soul and it attracts all materials for the development of physical embryo around. The spirit form expands equal to the size of the physical body. During the life time the spirit body is felt and experienced in some psychic practice or even in ordinary dreams too. At the dissolution of the physical form, the inner spirit form comes out and remains for a long period. This spirit form will resemble the physical one but with subtle nature. It can come to vision of some; it will do some extraordinary works, its form can shrink or expand and it will act as a medium through some subjects. Many people think these spirit forms are real and more valuable for veneration and worship. It will be living in the world so far as it is remembered and required by the believers. Some spirit forms can enter in bodies of others and live there for the time being, then leave out. In some baby bodies the new spirit of some others can come to occupy and reveal its former life's history. In such cases, it will appear as the reincarnation of the person. We should not be interested in all these spirit forms, because we have to go for the soul life which is above all these stages.
Soul is the seat of all powerful gracious god. From the innermost of this soul that divinity is spreading its omnigrace in the whole space of the universe. From the medium stage of spirit we are to know and experience both the inner and outer divine light of grace infinite. The supreme divine grace is complete and full for ever everywhere. But this truth comes from the soul to the spirit and from that spirit it spreads in the outer body transforming it into a divine eternal body. "Devi is Arul Sakthi (தேவி – அருள் சக்தி) or grace who appeared before me with the "Thiru-Uru" (திரு உரு) (divine form) and suddenly mixed in my spirit to establish Arutperunjothi in me shining for ever", this is the direct idea of these lines.
