With regard to the use of typewriter and computers, the language of Tamil has got many disadvantages when we compare it to other languages especially-English.

1) In Tamil, we have two types of Tamil typewriter keyboards available-old and new; but in English there is only one universal type writer.

2) In Tamil we have a lot of fonts available, Kruthi, Saraswathi, Pamini, etc., each of them have their own arrangements of letters on the keyboard. So it has become highly difficult even for those who know Tamil typewriting. Almost all of the Tamil fonts have not adhered to the arrangement of letters as that of either old or new Tamil typewriter.

3) Most of the Tamil fonts do not have all the Tamil words! that is a pity- most of the Tamil fonts do not included old Tamil letters.

4) Tamil is a special divine language. It was created and used by Divinity. If there is any evidence, then our vallalperuman’s handwritten Thiruarutpa and letters are the evidence. Our Vallalperuman used only old Tamil letters; HE used some special letters like ‘Ee’-see, Arutperumjothi Agaval –stanza 9 and 10, Eenaminri.. But in the name of modernity, we have changed the letters, we have created new letters and we have ignored the use of Tamil letters used by Divinity itself. See, our position, we are boasting of Tamil pride, pride of Classical language. Where are that old Tamil letters? (like Naa, Raa, lai, Nai, etc., ) Are ignorant humans superior to Divinity?

5) Most of the Tamil fonts do not have all Sanskrit letters that have been used in Tamil.

6) Many efforts have been made to unify all the different fonts, but even those efforts had created its own divisions.

In view of the above mentioned disadvantages, our Vallalperuman’s devotees who know computer programming and Tamil, must create a new Tamil font that to be named VALLALAR TAMIL FONT, this new font must have,

1) Both old and new tamil typewriter set up ( We need switching facility)

2) The proposed font must have all the tamil letters-old, new and tamil letters used by our Vallalperuman. (We must have Aayutha Eluththu)

3) It must have all the Sanskrit letters that have been used in Tamil,

4) One font must contain many different styles; so we do not have to go for different fonts for different styles.

5) This font be used in posting in our vallalarspace website.

It is easy to perceive any things, but it is very difficult to create anything. But with the blessing of our Vallalperuman, those who have developed android apps, and Vallalperuman’s devotees who have been working as computer programmers throughout the world can come and work and make it a reality. We can set one year time-the next birthday of our peruman- 05-10-2014 and on that date if it were created, we can present it to our Vallalperuman as our humble gift and to our Tamil populace, an important tool.
